Accessibility
Last updated 7 October 2026
We want Gobo Designer to be usable by as many people as possible, and we aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have checked
- An automated audit with axe-core against WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 levels A and AA, on every tab, at desktop and phone widths, found no failures on 7 October 2026.
- Every control can be reached and used with a keyboard, and has a visible focus outline.
- Every setting has a plain-language explanation, available on hover, on keyboard focus, or by tapping it.
- The page reflows to a single column on a phone with no sideways scrolling, and works at 200% zoom.
- It makes no use of colour alone to signal a problem: errors are named in words in the status bar, in the tab, and in the checks list.
Known limits
- The wall view, gate view and 3D view are drawings. What they show that matters — sizes, throws, angles and every problem found — is also given as text in the readouts and checks, but the drawings themselves are not described to screen readers.
- The 3D view is moved with a mouse or touch. Its two set views (Overview and From the fixture) are buttons, and it adds nothing you need to finish a design.
