Cookies and storage

Cookies
None. Gobo Designer and its pages set no cookies, and there are no analytics, tag managers or advertising pixels.
What the tool keeps in your browser
One item, in your browser's local storage, which counts as storing information on your device in the same way a cookie does:
gobo.project.v1- The project you are working on — text, settings, positions and any font or logo you uploaded — saved as you work so that reloading or closing the tab does not lose it. It stays on your device until you remove it, and it is never sent to us or anyone else.
The tab and view you are looking at are remembered only while the page is open, and are not stored.
Why there is no consent banner
The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 require consent before storing information on your device, unless the storage is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for. Keeping the design you are working on is that service: it is what makes Gobo Designer a design tool rather than a page that forgets everything on reload. The item is used for nothing else — no tracking, no measurement, no sharing — so it is exempt, and there is nothing else to ask you about.
Removing it
Use Forget my project on this device in the Output tab, or clear this site's data in your browser's settings. Gobo Designer keeps working; it simply starts from the example project next time. Use Save first if you want to keep a copy as a file.
The rest of fableforge.uk
The other FableForge pages store nothing on your device either. The only exception is the checkout on our app buy pages, described in that cookie policy.
